Needed to get a custom cake and the woman who helped me was so kind and patient with me. Calandras made this beautiful cake using an inspo photo I sent them. And compared to other custom cake artists, their prices were fair and great! I paid about $82 for this cake. Real strawberries and cream at the center and buttercream for the frosting. Fed over 20 people.

I stopped by this bakery to grab a pastry, and while the place looked nice overall, I did notice a fly inside the donut display area flying around. That was a bit concerning from a hygiene standpoint. I hope the staff can address this because the bakery has potential, but cleanliness—especially around food—is very important.

We got a tres leches cake here for my friends birthday and we were impressed by the very clean facility, prompt service and large selection of baked goods. They have custom cakes, cheesecakes, flan, cookies, breads and tarts.

A lovely Italian pastry shop in Newark, NJ, offering cakes, danishes, coffee, and many other fresh treats. The whole place feels neat and orderly, with a strong crew running things smoothly. Even though around ten folks were in line when I arrived, it moved quickly, and I waited no more than five minutes. The service felt warm, quick, and well-organized. I found parking right across the street, since the shop has a small lot with room for around ten cars. For anyone seeking a clean, friendly spot with classic Italian sweets and pastries, this is an easy choice. I usually visit a similar shop in Fairfield, yet since this one is closer to home, we thought we should finally stop in — and it fully lived up to expectations.
